Hello Craig,
thank you very much for your suggestion about the ISBN number--you're absolutely right that most stores won't carry it without one. Fortunately, I have that covered. The book will also be indexed by Ingrams and should be made available via computer search engines such as google, however, that will happen about 30-45 days after the book has been printed (as far as my understanding). the book also has a library of congress number. I believe that online stores will be able to order them at the public's request and it may actually be most cost effective ordering it through places like Amazon where people can take advantage of the free shipping if more than $39 dollars worth of stuff is bought. Unfortunately, buying from Author house may not be as cost effective because the shipping cost per book doesn't come down unless lots of about 25 are ordered and that would run someone into a hundred plus dollars (I will have to get further clarification on this)--grr the shipping cost for a single book would be anywhere from $6.90-$7.00 as far as what I have been told, bringing the total cost from Authorhouse at around $14.50-$14.60.
In regards to demographics, this book is for the most part suitable for children as young as infants to high end 7 maybe 8--9 would be a stretch although I believe anyone can really enjoy it. There are two poems which are definitely for younger readers (the illustrated ones--one, two,...five Wonderful Wizards for younger children and When I Was Knee High for a little older ones) The other two non-illustrated poems (Forgiveness and Cosmic Reflections) are a little more advanced. If you have any other suggestions, I will warmly welcome them as this is all new to me and i definitely have a lot to learn! Thanks once again and I look forward to being in touch.
with warmest regards,
Samir
